What is "Water For Life"

The Rotary Club of Paradise (California) felt compelled to take on an international cause. They attended the Uniendo America Projects Fair in Guatemala, Central America, to meet with Rotarians of third world areas, and together, determine Central American needs.

First Fundraiser

World renowned, multi-platinum guitarist Ottmar Liebert performed a benefit concert at Sierra Nevada's "Big Room" Wednesday, June 22nd, 2005. Proceeds from, "an evening with Ottmar Liebert and Luna Negra" go toward this new international "Water For Life" project. With Rotary International, and your help, Third World Central American countries will receive means for potable water!

Congradulations Chico!

To say that the fundraiser was a good night would be an understatement! We raised over $10,000 which 100% goes towards the "Water For Life" cause. Thanks again for every one who supported this event! Farm-fresh produce, delicious food, arts and crafts, and live entertainment... Explore Downtown Chico's Thursday Night Market! Held weekly April through September from 6-9pm (except rainy days), the market is a street festival and certified farmers' market. Located on Broadway from 2nd to 5th Streets, the area is closed to vehicle traffic to allow for the festivities. Due to health code specifications, no animals are permitted at the market.

We are high school and college graduates from Chico, Paradise, and Magalia. We do more than just finance our community. We are the community. We take great pride in being leaders in sponsoring community organizations and events.
